Sharing its chassis sequence with the 86-Inch, exact production numbers are unclear, but only around 1,000 of these “Station Wagons” were manufactured, making this a rare model indeed. First registered in New Zealand and imported to the UK in 2016.
Vehicle Overview
The bodywork is excellent, with a new chassis, new rust-protected black bulkhead, and minor patina weathering above the windscreen. All five SUMO tires, including the bonnet-mounted spare, are in good shape. The side panels display stickers and decals of the restoration and forestry conservation work in New Zealand.
The cab is original, featuring three front spade seats in great condition. The rear is ready to attach fold-down seats as an option.
The interior is well-preserved and no cuts or dents in the tub floor.
This 1957 Station Wagon is remarkably original and its 4-cylinder petrol engine is in good condition, and has a new battery.
